Susan Woodard, M.S., LMFT is the author and owner of the court approved Positive Parenting Through Divorce workbook.
Susan Woodard developed the workbook course according to the Court Guidelines while
working extensively with families involved in the divorce process.
Susan Woodard is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Clinical Director of the Atrium Counseling Center
in Broward County, Florida, where she has been practicing for over 12 years. Her experience also includes working
within the Broward County Schools System, the Juvenile Mediation and Arbitration program, and the Department of
Children and Families. Ms. Woodard has also facilitated adolescent group counseling, parent support groups, and is
Nationally Certified as a Parent Trainer Professional.
In addition to the Positive Parenting Through Divorce workbook,
Susan Woodard is author of several articles in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy including a handbook on violence
prevention. As a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, she continues to provide
individual, family, couples and marriage therapy services in her private practice. Ms. Woodard has provided supervision
for interns in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Nova Southeastern University and was the Treasurer of the
Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
